Does the customer need an account?

No. The configurator works without a login; the configured items are added to the cart as usual.

Are real products and prices used?

Yes. Every catalog item is linked to a Shopify product variant. Inventory, price and tax run through your normal product.

What unit are calculations in?

Internally in millimeters; the result displays lengths and areas in a customer-friendly way.

Can I temporarily hide individual items?

Yes – set the Active field to off in the catalog. The item is kept but does not appear in the configurator.

Which pages can I place the configurator on?

Any page of your Online Store 2.0 theme that supports app blocks (product, landing or content pages). See Add to your store.

Does the app support multiple currencies?

Prices and currency follow your Shopify store.

I don't see any items in the configurator – why?

The catalog is probably empty or all items are inactive. See Troubleshooting.
